Is All Experience Bhutan Tour suitable for you?

Which is the best time for this tour?
The ideal time for visiting Bhutan is October to December. In this time of year, the weather is dry and clear. January & February are cold and March to April are dry and pleasant where you can notice flower blossom making the environment vibrant. June to September is monsoon which is not recommended for travel.

Our airport representative will be waiting for you outside the airport. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Check in the hotel and relax. Rest of the time is on your own. Enjoy your time at the hotel. In the evening, your guide will meet you at the hotel and brief you about the plans ahead. Stay at the hotel for the night. (Breakfast included)
Your day starts with a breakfast at the hotel. Then your guide will pick you up and take you for sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Today, you will be taken to the UNESCO listed heritage sites in Kathmandu. At first, we shall visit Kathmandu Durbar Square. It is a beautiful palace in the center of Kathmandu. Built in medieval period during Malla reign, it is a huge complex that comprises of palace turned into museum, courtyards and temples. It is a fine piece of wooden crafts, metal crafts and stone crafts. After exploring this complex, we head towards Swayambhunath, a stupa placed in a hill top. The stupa is followed by a visit to an old temple of Lord Shiva – Pashupatinath temple. This temple holds high significance amongst Hindu pilgrims. Finally, the sightseeing tour ends with a visit to Boudhanath stupa, a large stupa placed upon three layered mandela. You will be dropped at the hotel for the night. (Breakfast and dinner included)
Today, you will be transferred to the international terminal of Kathmandu airport for a flight to Paro, Bhutan. The flight to Paro is an amazing experience as you will get some mind-blowing views of mountains that include the highest peak of the world – Mt. Everest. Upon your arrival in Paro International airport, you will meet our Bhutanese crew members. They will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Thimpu. Upon arrival, check in the hotel. In the evening, you can explore the streets of Thimpu. Overnight at your hotel in Thimpu. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and get ready for a guided tour around Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan. At first, we visit Pangri zampa monastery, a beautiful monastery just beyond the beautiful palace of Dechencholing . it is just 5 kms away from Thimpu. It used to be the first residential place of Shabdrug Ngawang Namgyal when he entered in Bhutan in 1616 AD. Then we head to National Textile museum. Explore art of traditional weaving in here. The memorial chorten of King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck built in 1974 is also a place to visit. Next, we head to radio tower for some inspiring views of Thimpu city. Thimpu dzong, zoo, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Taschichodzong, Simkota dzong, Folk Heritage museum, etc. are some sites included in today’s guided tour. Overnight at your hotel in Thimpu. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
We wake up early and enjoy our breakfast at the hotel. Then we hop into our drive for a scenic trip to Punakha. We pass various wonderful views that includes spectacles of high snow clad Himalayas on the way. We stop at Dochu La pass on the way. The pass at an elevation of 3150 offers some outstanding views of mountains. From the pass, we walk towards Druk Wangyal monastery. It is an alluring monastery with some stunning paintings that reflects the monarchy prevalent in Bhutan and the visionary works done during their reign till now. After visiting the monastery, we continue with the ride. We drive along the lush forests of rhododendron and fir. As we reach Lobesa, we stop our ride for a while and hike up to Chim Lhakhang temple. After visiting the temple, we drive continuously to the village of Punakha. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
We wake up in one of the best destinations of Bhutan today. Yes, it is Punakha village. The village is known for the stunning views of valleys and mountains that this village offers. After breakfast, we spend our time exploring the village of Punakha. We hike up the village and cross a suspension bridge over Mo Chhu river and continue through a well paved path. We walk for few hours and stop for lunch in a local village. Further, we walk to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel chorten. The chorten lies in the upper Punakha valley. From the top, you will be rewarded with some striking views of mountains, valleys and lush landscapes. After finishing our hike to the top, we drop down to Punakha village for overnight stay. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Leaving Punakha village, we jump into our ride and drive to Bumthang. We drive along a scenic landscape and cross a pass – Pele La pass at 3300 meters. The pass offers some spectacular views of Himalayan landscape all around. We drive ahead and stop at Trongsa for lunch. Here, we can hike up to visit a dzong that’s nearby. The dzong is a masterpiece of Bhutanese art and architecture. Further, we leave Trongsa and drive to Bumthang. It is also beautiful village in Bhutan that comprises of lush valleys and lush forests around. Today, we stop at Bumthang for another excursion day tomorrow. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
We have a free day to spend our time within the lushness of Bumthang village. First, after the breakfast, we visist Jakar Dzong. This dzong is the administrative center of Bumthang valley. Next, we head to Jambay Lhakhang. It is an old monastery that holds the history of century back, approximately during the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan. This monastery is followed by a visit to Kurjey Lhakhang. It is considred as a holy site with some body imprints of Guru Rinpoche. Finally, we hike up to Thangbi valley and visit Thangbi Lhakhang. In the evening, we drop down to Bumthang village where we stay for the night. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
After a wonderful day in Bumthang, we make our way back to Punakha. We drive back via same path along the scenic route to Punakha. On the way, we stop at Chendebji chorten and pay a visit to the chorten. It dates back to 18th century. Then we enjoy our lunch and continue drive towards the village of Punakha. Today, we stop at Punakha for night stay. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
We wake up early and visit Punakha dzong in the village. Then we drive continuously via same path along Dochula pass to Thimpu. We enjoy our lunch at Thimpu and drive towards Paro. After reaching Paro, we can visit Rinpung dzong and Kichu Lhakhang if interested. Tonight, we stay at a hotel in Paro. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Fuel up yourself with a delicious breakfast in hotel. Then we prepare for a hike up to Tiger’s Nest monastery. Also known as Takshang monastery, it is a famous monastery in Bhutan known for its dramatic location and religious value. Lying at an elevation of 3100 meters on a top of a hill, it is said to be the same place where Guru Rinpoche had flown on the back of tigress in 8th century to meditate in the cave. The cave is the same place where the monastery stands now. The monastery sits on the edge of a steep cliff that lies around 900 meters above the valley of Paro. After exploring the monastery, we drop back to Paro and stay at the hotel for the night. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Finally, after a successful accomplishment of All Experience Bhutan Tour, you will be driven to Paro International airport to catch a return flight back to your home destination. (Breakfast included)
