Trip Overview
Nepal Bhutan Tiber Tour is an exciting multi-country tour that takes you to some exotic destinations around Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet. This tour is full of Himalayan beauty and authentic cross country history, culture, tradition and religion.
It starts with a sightseeing tour to some wonderful heritage sites in Kathmandu that includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, and Boudhanath stupa. We explore ancient palaces, temples, and stupa in Kathmandu and drive towards Nagarkot for panoramic views of mountains. The pristine environment of Nagarkot is reviving and so are the glorious sunrise views from the viewpoint. After beholding the captivating beauty of sunrise and mountains, we go to Chitwan National Park to explore wildlife in their natural habitat. Exploring the dense jungle and wildlife on a jeep or elephant is an interesting adventure act.
We wrap up our tour in Nepal and fly over the beautiful Himalayas to Paro airport in Bhutan. Then we drive to Thimpu and explore some places of importance like King’s Memorial Chorten, Takin Zoo, Bhutanese Textile Museum, School of Arts and Crafts, Heritage Museum, traditional paper factory, Tasicho Dzong, etc. from Thimpu, we drive to Haa valley and explore its scenic beauty. Further, we drive along the Paro valley. In Paro, we hike up to Tiger’s Nest Monastery – an artistic monastery perched on a top of a cliff. We also visit places like National Museum housed at Ta Dzong, Paro Dzong, Kyichu Temple, etc and wrap up our tour in Bhutan.
We again fly to Kathmandu and take a flight to Lhasa city. In Lhasa, we enjoy a sightseeing tour around the city. We visit Potala Palace, Sera monastery, Drepung monastery, Norbulingka palace, Jokhang temple, and Bakor street and finish our Nepal Bhutan Tibet Tour.

How early should you book for this tour?
As the tour includes the multi-country tour, it is recommended to book the trip at least six months prior to the travel date. The visa regulations of Tibet and Bhutan are very strict. For Bhutan, there is a limited quota for travelers each year. If the number is already exceeded, you may not be able to travel to that country. Even we – Himalayas Hiking need to make necessary arrangements for your hotel, accommodation, and transportation. Therefore, book your trip as early as possible.

Our airport representative will be waiting for you outside the airport. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Check in the hotel and relax. Rest of the time is on your own. Enjoy your time at the hotel. In the evening, your guide will meet you at the hotel and brief you about the plans ahead. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Your day starts with a breakfast at the hotel. Then your guide will pick you up and take you for sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Today, you will be taken to the UNESCO listed heritage sites in Kathmandu. At first, we shall visit Kathmandu Durbar Square. It is a beautiful palace in the center of Kathmandu. Built in medieval period during Malla reign, it is a huge complex that comprises of palace turned into museum, courtyards and temples. It is a fine piece of wooden crafts, metal crafts and stone crafts. After exploring this complex, we head towards Swayambhunath, a stupa placed in a hill top. The stupa is followed by a visit to an old temple of Lord Shiva – Pashupatinath temple. This temple holds high significance amongst Hindu pilgrims. Finally, the sightseeing tour ends with a visit to Boudhanath stupa, a large stupa placed upon three layered mandela. Today, we wake up early and walk to view tower for mesmerizing views of sunrise amidst the mountains. After breakfast, we drive along a scenic route to Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National Park is one of the best preserved national park in Asia and a home to many species of floras, faunas, birds and butterflies. In the evening, we walk along the ethnic Tharu villages. Today, we enjoy our day in the national park. We engage ourselves in various activities like elephant jungle safari, jeep safari, canoeing, visit to elephant breeding center, etc. In the evening, you can enjoy a Tharu cultural programme. Overnight in Chitwan.
Today, we drive back to Kathmandu city. it’s around six hours ride along the Prithvi highway. You will be transferred to the hotel in Kathmandu after your arrival. Tonight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Today, you will be transferred to the international terminal of Kathmandu airport for a flight to Paro, Bhutan. The flight to Paro is an amazing experience as you will get some mind-blowing views of mountains that include the highest peak of the world – Mt. Everest. Upon your arrival in Paro International airport, you will meet our Bhutanese crew members. They will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Thimpu. Upon arrival, check in the hotel. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and get ready for a guided tour around Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan. At first, we visit Pangri zampa monastery, a beautiful monastery just beyond the beautiful palace of Dechencholing . it is just 5 kms away from Thimpu. It used to be the first residential place of Shabdrug Ngawang Namgyal when he entered in Bhutan in 1616 AD. Then we head to National Textile museum. Explore art of traditional weaving in here. The memorial chorten of King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck built in 1974 is also a place to visit. Next, we head to radio tower for some inspiring views of Thimpu city. Thimpu dzong, zoo, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Taschichodzong, Simkota dzong, Folk Heritage museum, etc. are some sites included in today’s guided tour. Today, we drive back to Paro city but we traverse through Chele La pass and Haa valley. We pass a beautiful scenic landscape as we pass the Chele la pass and Haa valley. We visit he villages and temples on the way. From the pass, we will be blessd with some incredible views of snowcapped mountains. later, we drive back to Paro. Overnight in Paro.
We wake up early and drive continuously to Paro. Then we prepare for a hike up to Tiger’s Nest monastery. Also known as Takshang monastery, it is a famous monastery in Bhutan known for its dramatic location and religious value. Lying at an elevation of 3100 meters on a top of a hill, it is said to be the same place where Guru Rinpoche had flown on the back of tigress in 8th century to meditate in the cave. The cave is the same place where the monastery stands now. The monastery sits on the edge of a steep cliff that lies around 900 meters above the valley of Paro. After exploring the monastery, we drop back to Paro and explore Ta Dzong, Paro Dzong, Kyichu Temple, etc. We stay at the hotel in Paro for the night.
Today, we drive to Paro airport and take a flight back to Kathmandu airport. A scenic flight above the Himalayas will take us back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be picked up at the airport and dropped to your hotel in Kathmandu.
You will be escorted to Kathmandu airport to catch a scenic flight over the Himalayas to Lhasa. At Lhasa, our Chinese crew will pick you up and transfer to hotel in Lhasa.
You will be picked up from your hotel for a sightseeing tour around Lhasa city. Today, we visit places like Sera monastery, Norbulingka palace, Jokhang temple and Bakor Street. In the evening, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Tonight at Lhasa
It’s another day of sightseeing tour around Lhasa city. You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the places like Potala palace and Depung monastery.
