Welcome to the capital city of Nepal! Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal is a center of art and culture. It preserves some fantastic forms of cultural, historical and religious heritages in Nepal. A representative from our company will pick you up and the airport and escort you to a pre booked hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu
We enjoy our breakfast in hotel and get ready for a wonderful drive over the Prithvi Highway to Pokhara. The route offers scenic views of hills, valleys, forests, rivers and countryside Nepal. Pokhara is roughly seven to eight hours drive from Kathmandu. if you do not like to take a long drive, you have an option of taking flight all the way to Pokhara. Upon arrival, check into a hotel in Pokhara. Rest for a while and you can set out for a wonderful walk around the lakeside Pokhara. After breakfast at the hotel, we leave Pokhara and take a short drive to Nayapul which is the commencement point of our trek. From Nayapul, we walk along a pleasing trail full of villages, farmlands, shops and teahouses. After some time of walk, we follow the north bank of Bhurungdi river. The trail then ascends up steep to the side of a valley. Shortly, we arrive at Hile at 1495 meters. A short climb from Hile and we reach Tikhedhunga at an elevation of 1570 meters. Leaving Ghorepani, we climb up steep to Ulleri. Ulleri at an elevation of 2070 meters is a large village inhabited by people of Magar community. From this village, the trail ascends up steep along the dense forests of rhododendron and oak. We continue our walk to Banthanti at 2250 meters and then to Nangethanti at 2460 meters. After walking for an hour from Nangethanti, we reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is a beautiful village that offers some impressive views of mountains in Annapurna region. We wake up early in the morning to catch the glorious view of sunrise amidst the Annapurna panorama. We walk up for around an hour to Poonhill which is considered as one of the best vantage points in entire Annapurna region. You will be blessed with some unobstructed views of mountains along with the golden rays of sunlight over the snow capped Himalayas. After capturing the mesmerizing views of sunrise, we return to Ghorepani for breakfast. After breakfast, we start climbing along a ridge and pass the forests of rhododendron, oak and pine to Deurali. From Deurali, we descend down to Banthanti and continue towards Tadapani. Overnight at a teahouse in Tadapani
After breakfast at the guesthouse, we start descending downhill through the dense forests of oak, rhododendron and pine to Gurjung. Gurjung village is a charming village on the route inhabited by the people of Gurung community. From the village, we take an easy walk to Chomorong at 2140 meters. From Chomorong, we descend down the trail to the bank of Chomorong river. From here, we start ascending up to Khuldighar at an elevation of 2380 meters. There used to be Annapurna Conservation Area Check post (ACAP) in here. The trail continues down through the rocky banks and rocky gorge to the west side of a river. Further, we walk along the forested area to Hotel Himalaya. Overnight at Hotel Himalaya
After breakfast, we climb up through the trail and pass Hinko cave, Deurali and Macchapucchre Base Camp. Macchpucchre Base Camp is not actually a base camp as the climbing in the mountain is not permitted. The periphery area is surrounded by mountains on all side hence also known as Annapurna Santcuary. We walk for around two hours from Macchapucchre Base Camp to reach Annapurna Base Camp, our final destination at an elevation of 4130 meters. At the base camp, we will be blessed with some magnificent views of mountains in the Annapurna region. Overnight at a teahouse in Annapurna Base Camp
We embark our return journey from today. After exploring around the base camp for a while, we descend down via same path to Bamboo. Drop down the trail is very rapid during our return journey. At the end of the day, we stop when we reach our teahouse in Bamboo. Overnight at a teahouse.
We leave Bamboo and drop down via same path to Chomoroang. We walk pass Khudighar, a experimental sheep farm in Khudighar and continue through the lush forests of bamboo, rhododendron and oak to Chomorong. From Chomorong, we further descend down steep until we reach the natural hot springs at Jhinu. In the evening, you can enjoy the soothing hot water bath in the natural hot springs at Jhinu. We further drop down via the same path to Nayapul. On the way, we pass some interesting ethnic villages, farmlands and forests to Nayapul. From Nayapul, we take a short drive along the scenic route to Pokhara. In Pokhara, we can enjoy the remaining time sightseeing round some important places. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara
Concluding our journey, we wrap up our trek with a drive back to Kathmandu. The path is same along the scenic terrain to Kathmandu. upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be dropped at your hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu
Finally, it’s time for departure. You will be transferred to the airport few hours before your scheduled flight.
